siemens cl75The Siemens CL75 is curvaceous GSM phone and is stylish, with unique features. It has a dual color display, a VGA camera with video, speakerphone, class 10 GPRS data, Java 2.0 and infrared. The CL75 weighs around 90 grams (3.17oz) with dimension of 3.43 x 1.73 x 0.91 inches (87 x 44 x 23 mm) and has a battery life talk of three hours and a standby of 220 hours. The Modes are GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900, and it has an internal antenna.

Features

The Siemens CL75 handset is very feminine in appeal; though of course it does not out do the Xelibri6 on that account. However, the newer set is a much better phone with better features. The set is a tri band GSM phone with GPRS, a TFT main display and an external display in thousands of colors and a VGA resolution camera. Beside this, it has instant messaging, Java and polyphonic ring and a WAP 2.0 browser.

The strong point in the Siemens CL75 is however its sleek and trendy look. When it is launched, it will be available in silk flower red. The main screen can serve as a mirror, as it is reflective, like the Xelibri 6.

Though this Siemens CL75 cell phone is not exactly compact, with its flower adorned clamshell design, it does not snag while in a handbag. The Siemens CL75 will be launches in the second quarter of 2005, and will have a mid range price. Chic and trendy, it should appeal to all fashion conscious women. It has a sophisticated design and the Screen, which has around 262000 colors, and which can conveniently become a mirror, obviously is a great attraction. This is something that many Asian phones have if they are made targeting the woman consumers. Moreover, of course with its lightweight, it will easily slip into a woman’s handbag, making it all the more covetable.

The main rivals to this compact phone are the middle class clamshells of Samsung. The full recharging of the cell phone, which is available in red and black, takes about two hours. The graphical display screen is able to show seven lines of text at a go. The external screen has a resolution of 94x64 pixels and 65000 colors.

Memory

The Siemens CL75 phone has good memory storage, and can give details of the last 100 missed, incoming and outgoing calls. The memory is dynamically shared between all applications. It can store several numbers for a single name in its phone book. The phone has a vibrating alert, 40 polyphonic ring tones and facility for fast dialing for at least 8 numbers. Besides this, it has an integrated speakerphone and can store anniversary and birthday memos.

Messages

Using the Siemens CL75 handset, MMS and EMS can be sent; ring tones and animated messages can be exchanged. It also has the facility of multiple languages. The CL75 supports concatenated messages up to 760 characters.
