Features

Weighing a mere 4.60 oz and sporting dimensions 3.66x1.91x1.05 inches and an extendable antenna, this clamshell from Sanyo is reputed to have a battery life of 3.20 hours of talk time. Your contact list can be stored in the more than ample phone book, which is capable of storing up to 300 contacts or 500 numbers. The Picture ID feature allows quick and easy caller identification.

The phone comes with all the Personal Information Management features like alarm function, calculator, calendar and To-Do list to organize your life. The cell phone comes with 18 MB of shared memory. In other words, there is one large "pool" of memory available for multiple types of applications.

The Sanyo EVDO comes with Push-To-Talk (PTT) feature, which is a two-way communication service that works like a "walkie talkie".

Camera

The Sanyo 9000 features a 1.3 Megapixel camera with flash, digital zoom and control options for the best in still life photography. You can even capture moving life with 30-second video clips, or clips up to 120 min. long if you add on the optional larger miniSD memory card. Video recording features include a 1-20 step zoom, a video light for low light conditions, and a brightness control setting to give you the best output.

You can use the included miniSD card along with the included USB cable to store and transfer pictures to and from a PC. The device is also PictBridge capable, so you can directly connect to a PictBridge compatible printer to print your snapshots without a PC. You have the option of customizing your phone by using your snaps or video clips as wallpapers and screensavers, or you can send them via MMS to your family and friends.
