LG VI-5225 If you are looking for a sleek and stylish handset backed by LG’s commitment to quality, then you would do well by selecting the LG VI-5225. Small and sensuous with its black exterior, the VI5225 flip phone is a life-long asset. This mobile phone is a portable communication hub allowing you to gain access to information, entertainment and communication, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Design

Sporting dimensions 3.5x1.9x1.0 inches; the 3.4 oz mobile phone is a featherweight. In fact, the VI5225 by LG is designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand, your pocket, you hand bag and even your lifestyle. A thin silver ring adorns the front flap of the streamlined handset, and the hidden antenna contributes to the sleek finish without compromising on audio quality. The side of the phone houses a headset jack into which you can plug universal handsets for convenient hands free use of the phone.

The keys of the ergonomically designed backlit keypad are tactile and respond favorably to your touch. The navigation buttons are well spaced. The two soft keys can be utilized to prompt the phone to display the phone book and the menu system. The four-way toggle, with an OK button in its center, provides one-touch access to focal phone features like messaging, the Web browser, downloads and a user-defined shortcut.

Screen

The rectangular, monochrome external display shows the date, the time, battery life, signal strength and caller ID at a glance. Flip the phone open and feast your eyes on the crisply bright main screen, which measures two inches diagonally.

Features

The LG VI-5225 comes with a built-in phone book in which you can store 200 contacts, with five phone numbers, an email address, a website and notes per entry. The contacts can be divided into various groups as you deem fit, and you can match a ring tone to a caller so you are aware of who is calling by the sound of the ringer.

Switch off your mobile phone during a meeting or when your children are asleep and the vibrate mode will alert you when there is an incoming call. The calculator, world clock, scheduler, notepad, alarm clock and tip calculator are nifty in-built tools that you need to get through a hard day’s work.

The unusual ‘icon’ main menu style of the mobile phone is cool, high tech and rather stylish. The icing on the cake is the airplane mode, which allows you to use the tools and other features of your mobile phone even when call features are disabled onboard an aircraft.
